Those trees, that field, those homes—everything is synthetically generated for military applications by Quantum3D’s GeoScapeSE software. GeoScapeSE is a library of a wide variety of common source materials that can be used to create a synthetic world for training purposes.

Most importantly, the imagery is geo-specific, meaning that Q3D has captured satellite images of the real world to ensure that GeoScapeSE’s materials are as realistic as possible.

GeoScapeSE even provides elevation data and precision-modeled, high-resolution areas of interest, including military and civilian airfields.
  • Geo-Specific Imagery — Many of today’s synthetic environment platforms use “geo-typical” graphics, which are approximations of reality. GeoScapeSE delivers actual, or “geo-specific,” imagery.
  • Environment Flexibility — Can be used in a myriad of ways—for out-the-window (OTW), night vision goggles (NVG), infrared (IR), electro-optical (EO), and radar real-time simulation.
  • Optimized for Q3D IGs — GeoScapeSE has been optimized for use with Quantum3D’s image generators
